Are you looking for ways to serve others? Here is one in which the only qualification is to have the “heart of a servant.” That, and a little time, is all you need to be a vital part of WINGS.

This group of women meets every month on the second Thursday. They enjoy fun, food and fellowship, while working together on service projects for others.

Normally they meet at the church building, but occasionally the meetings are held in homes. Some of the projects are special items made to send to Honduras, a mission effort the congregation is very involved in.

Today has been an extremely stressful day. Perhaps you just returned home from a long stay in the hospital. Or maybe you have been seriously ill and are at home recuperating.

Or perhaps you have just had a death in your family. Maybe a member of your family has had an extended illness and you’ve been taking care of them. Whatever the situation, you do not feel like cooking or doing anything. Still you and your family need something to eat.

The doorbell rings and there, on your porch, stands someone from Agape Meals with a hot meal, just for you and your family. Women volunteer to bake and take special meals to our members. Women sign up for a month at a time and are on call for when a hot meal is needed.

These are only two of the many ways you can get involved.
